Head of Medical - EFL Football

Working with a top football club within the EFL to assist on their search to find a Head of Medical/Physiotherapist to work with the club.

Previous experience as a Head of Academy/Head of First Team Medical is desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the medical department and set the overall medical strategy for the academy and First Team.
  • Provide clinical leadership across injury assessment, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play.
  • Develop and oversee injury-prevention strategies, including screening, load management, strength/conditioning integration, and individualized programmes.
  • Lead medical decision-making regarding player participation, training modifications, and match availability.
