Your Role
As Head of Member Engagement, you will lead the delivery of the PFS member engagement function, shaping how engagement activities enhance professional relevance, increase participation and demonstrate the value of membership. Working closely with the Executive Director of Member Engagement, you will help define strategic priorities and ensure engagement activity supports the wider directorate mission.
You will oversee a joined-up programme of events, webinars and professional content across digital, hybrid and face-to-face channels, ensuring members have access to relevant learning opportunities aligned to CPD priorities and the CII Professional Map. Using member insight, feedback, participation data and industry trends, you will continuously refine engagement activity to maximise its impact and value.
Working collaboratively across membership, learning, marketing, communications, events and technical teams, you will align priorities, build strong stakeholder relationships and secure high-quality contributions from subject matter experts, speakers and volunteers. You will also oversee planning, governance, budgets and performance measurement, using evidence and innovation to enhance member engagement and inform future programme development.

- You have a strong understanding of professional learning, CPD and development pathways, and can translate these into relevant and impactful member experiences.
- You are highly organised and commercially aware, able to balance long-term strategy with effective oversight of plans, resources, budgets and delivery.
- You bring credibility and sound judgement, with the confidence to provide constructive challenge, manage risk and make balanced decisions that support organisational objectives.
- You excel at engaging senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and contributors, building trusted partnerships that enhance the quality and impact of member engagement activities.
- You bring a proactive and innovative mindset, always looking for new ways to strengthen engagement, enhance member value and increase participation.

- A formal two-stage interview process with the representatives of the Talent Acquisition, and the Member Engagement teams.
