Lead the administration of our Men’s Department
Bringing structure to enrolment, attendance, student records, and volunteer coordination while improving the systems used to support students and the wider team.
What difference will you make?
The Men’s Department is growing and needs stronger administrative systems to ensure that students, enrolments, attendance, and progress are properly tracked. This role will help us move from fragmented or inconsistent record keeping towards a more structured system.
The volunteer will help create reliable processes that give the department a clearer picture of its students and activities, reduce gaps in information, and make follow-up easier. Better administration will also help teachers and volunteers understand what support students need and enable the wider Operations team to make better-informed decisions.
By establishing practical systems and coordinating the administration team, the Head of Men’s Administration will help create a more organised and sustainable Men’s Department that can support its students effectively as the organisation continues to grow.
What are we looking for?
The ideal volunteer will have experience in administration, operations, or a similar coordination role and be confident taking ownership of an area of work. They should be highly organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a remote volunteer environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We are looking for someone who can bring structure to existing processes, identify gaps, and introduce practical improvements. Experience managing records, coordinating people, maintaining spreadsheets or databases, and creating simple administrative procedures would be valuable.
The volunteer should have strong attention to detail and be able to handle information responsibly and confidentially. Good written communication and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, volunteers, and other members of the Operations team are important.
Previous experience leading or coordinating an administrative team would be an advantage, as this is a leadership role rather than a purely administrative position. Experience in education, community organisations, charities, or volunteer-led organisations would also be useful, but is not essential.
Most importantly, we need someone who is proactive, dependable, and willing to take responsibility for improving the way the Men’s Department is organised and supported.
