Head of Mergers & Acquisitions
Location: Midlands
Salary: Up to £90k + Bonus + Benefits
We're partnering with a growing, technology-focused infrastructure business to recruit a Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. Reporting to the CFO, this is a high-impact opportunity to lead the full acquisition lifecycle, driving an ambitious buy-and-build strategy focused on UK technology and environmental businesses.
This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of deal origination, financial modelling, valuation, negotiation, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration, with responsibility for delivering multiple acquisitions each year.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and originate acquisition opportunities across technology and environmental sectors.
- Build financial models and valuations to assess investment opportunities.
- Lead negotiations, due diligence, and transaction execution.
- Prepare investment papers and present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive post-acquisition integration to maximize commercial value.
About You
- 3-5+ years' M&A experience within Corporate Finance, Private Equity, or Corporate Development.
- Proven experience delivering acquisitions from origination through to completion.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and commercial negotiation skills.
- Experience assessing SME businesses, ideally in the £500k-£3m EBITDA range.
- Confident working autonomously and engaging with senior stakeholders.
