£46,973 - £63,088 per annum

Dudley College of Technology is one of the most successful further education colleges in the UK, providing a wide range of education and training programmes across the West Midlands. With a Large estate centred on the Dudley and Brierley Hill Learning Quarters, it provides inspirational facilities, in which students can access world-leading technology at the forefront of Further Education. Graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted in our most recent inspection in 2023, success rates for learners, across all programmes, are on or significantly above national benchmarks.

We are looking to recruit a Head of MIS to be responsible for leading the MIS and Funding Teams to deliver a comprehensive, responsive Management Information Service, with a strong emphasis on data integrity, high quality reporting and effective system integration, using digital technology to maximise operational efficiency and productivity across the College.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider MIS Management Team, Curriculum and Professional Services teams to maintain effective, accurate and consistent processes that support high quality service delivery to students and staff, driving continuous improvement through smarter use of systems and data.
  • Ensure the timely completion and submission of all statutory data and funding returns, maintaining full compliance with funding rules and regulatory requirements, while continually reviewing and improving processes to enhance data credibility, audit readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Act as a confident and effective communicator, building and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, students and both internal and external stakeholders, supporting the adoption of digital solutions and consistent operational practice across the College.
