What You Will Be Doing
As Head of Music, you will:
- Lead and develop the Music curriculum from Pre-Reception to Year 6.
- Inspire and conduct choirs and instrumental ensembles.
- Deliver engaging music teaching while overseeing the wider music provision.
- Coordinate a team of visiting music teachers delivering over 150 lessons each week.
- Organise concerts, productions, examinations, scholarships, trips and musical events.
- Develop an inclusive choral strategy that promotes participation and musical excellence.
- Work closely with the College Director of Music and support the wider music programme, including leading the KS3 choir at the Senior School.
