Head of Network Management

About the Team

The Live Network team owns real-time execution of Deliveroo's delivery network across all European markets (UK&I, France, Italy, Belgium), with supporting scope in the Middle East. When a market needs more riders online, when a live issue threatens service, or when an incentive needs to go live, this team owns the on-the-ground response. As part of the Regional operations function, Live Network is the centre of excellence for network management execution, and the critical operating partner for the Network Performance Lead (S&O) and product teams building in the Network Efficiency and Incentives space.

About the Role

You will own the live execution and reliability of Deliveroo's delivery network: rider supply balance, real-time issue resolution, and incentive application across our markets. Your focus is the live operational horizon — keeping the network balanced hour by hour, resolving issues as they surface, and translating diagnostics from the Network Performance Lead (S&O) into on-the-ground action and market-level execution; and the in-week analytical diagnosis sit with that role. You will report into the Director of Regional Operations.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Lead the Live Network function across all Deliveroo's European markets, acting as the go-to on rider incentives and network performance execution.
  • Own real-time network balance — ensuring the right number of riders are online, in the right place, at the right time, every day.
  • Track, diagnose, and resolve live network issues at speed, acting as the escalation point for complex or cross-market challenges.
  • Build strong relationships with country-level regional ops teams, spreading best practice while adapting for local market differences.
  • Develop scalable processes and playbooks so the team can operate consistently across geographies.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members, with particular focus on those early in their careers, and keep senior stakeholders updated through regular reporting on live network outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
