Head of New Business | CCaaS Platform

My client is seeking an experienced Head of New Business to lead, coach and scale their Business Development function. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of an established team of 6 BDRs, driving performance and building the foundations for the next stage of growth.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth environments and has a proven track record of creating scalable processes, developing talent, and delivering results through data-driven decision-making.

What We're Looking For:

  • Data and process-driven, using insights and metrics to optimise performance.
  • Experienced in building functions, frameworks and processes from the ground up.
  • Motivated by the challenge of scaling a high-performing business development team.
  • A strong leader with a passion for coaching, developing and inspiring teams.

As Head of New Business, you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Development Representatives to consistently achieve and exceed pipeline targets.
  • Take full ownership of BDR performance, including activity levels, meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and pipeline generation.
  • Build and execute effective outbound prospecting strategies across target markets and customer segments.
  • Establish clear KPIs, targets and performance expectations across the team.
  • Analyse performance data and metrics to identify trends, uncover challenges, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor key metrics, including activity, conversion rates, meeting quality, pipeline contribution and individual performance.
  • Create a culture of accountability where decisions are driven by data, measurable outcomes and commercial impact.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, call reviews, pipeline reviews and structured coaching sessions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve messaging, prospecting techniques, processes and overall team productivity.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop new BDR talent as the function continues to grow.
