Head of New Business

Dynamic working: 3 days per week on-site, due to workload classification
Reporting to the Business Manager, The Head of New Business will be responsible for business and technical aspects of all bids and ensuring future product roadmaps.
Additionally, with transformation a major topic at senior level within MBDA, MOD & the partner nations, this role brings a focus on delivering efficiencies and savings across the programme including all aspects of bidding and future product planning, in timelines that are crucial for the Stratus programme.
Head of New Business responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for leading all bids as Project Bid Lead (PBL)
- Focal point for Group and National Business Development.
- Challenge the status quo of bidding whilst working with the transformation lead and with the wider business to support ways of doing differently.
- Planning and co-ordinating of facility improvements for project working environment (office spaces, working equipment, shared networks, information exchange facilities)

The Future Roadmaps and Coherence lead supports the Head of New Business. Specific responsibilities include:
- Future Roadmaps / IRAD / R&T Links
- Responsible for ensuring Stratus spiral roadmap, IRAD and CFA are maintained
- Responsible for ensure research and technology links to Stratus are understood and optimised for exploitation through FC/ASW spiral roadmap
- IRAD, CW-ITP, WSRF, Technology Demonstrators, Vision 2040 links
