Head of Offshore Service

The Head of Offshore Service is responsible for leading the Offshore Service function, ensuring high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The role manages team performance, resource allocation, and service execution while maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for growth. Working closely with Sales, Operations, and other functions, the Head of Offshore Service drives continuous improvement, financial performance, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure correct staffing for the Business Unit tasks. Ensure that existing employees of the BU are trained (and retrained) as required
- Overall operational and project management including required staffing and equipment/tools.
- Deviation management on customer deliverables and on deviations within MWS deliveries in close collaboration with MWS HSEQ
- Take ownership for maintaining and enhancing company culture, and good collaboration within the BU and with other Functions
- Cost management in line with or better than agreed targets and budgets
- Support larger bids managed by Sales
- Support financial reporting led by Project Controllers and Finance
- Customer contact with focus on i) customer satisfaction, ii) additional sales and iii) ongoing strategic alignment

Skills, abilities and knowledge:
The Head of Offshore Service must aim to achieve a structured work distribution and a competitive work organization in a healthy and motivating work environment.
You must have:
- Extensive experience of project and operational management in the offshore wind industry, strategic planning, and business leadership
- Commercial mindset including track record of growing an existing operational account
- Possess good communication and leadership skills and a commercial mindset
- Proven experience of decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and client-focused communication skills
- Be able to create and maintain a great project overview on multiple projects at the same time
- Focus on obtaining results through coaching of the team
- Be able to write, speak and understand English
