An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced renewable energy professional to take ownership of the Operations & Maintenance function within a growing energy business.
This is a broad role combining operations, technical oversight, client management, and commercial development, with responsibility for ensuring renewable energy assets continue to perform efficiently throughout their operational life.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the ongoing operation, maintenance, and performance of a portfolio of renewable energy assets.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Coordinating external contractors, engineers, and suppliers.
- Monitoring asset performance and supporting fault resolution.
- Ensuring maintenance activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
- Managing ongoing client relationships and providing regular operational updates.
- Preparing scopes of work, proposals, and quotations.
- Maintaining accurate operational, service, and technical documentation.
- Identifying opportunities to improve asset performance and efficiency.
- Supporting the development of new service agreements and recurring revenue opportunities.
- Working alongside the wider business to support operational and commercial growth.

About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience within C&I rooftop solar PV, BESS, and EV.
- A good understanding of renewable energy asset operations and maintenance.
- Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, and technical teams.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and fault management.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
- Commercial awareness, including experience with pricing, proposals, or contract management.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of a growing area of the business.

A technical or electrical background would be beneficial but is not essential.
