The Opportunity

Certus Recruitment is partnering with an ambitious crypto infrastructure business building verifiable execution and settlement infrastructure for on-chain markets.

The platform enables users to trade tokens, perpetuals and prediction markets from a single balance, and the business is now looking for a Head of Onchain Trading Partnerships to lead its distribution into the growing ecosystem of on-chain trading applications.

This is a high-impact, highly autonomous role focused on getting the platform integrated into trading terminals, trading bots, self-custody wallets and retail brokers moving on-chain.

These businesses already buy execution infrastructure. Your job is to identify the right opportunities, get in front of the decision-makers and make this platform the next integration they ship.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll own the channel and have significant influence over commercial strategy, deal structures and product direction.

What You'll Own

  • Build and own the partnership pipeline across on-chain trading terminals, bots, wallets and retail brokers
  • Identify and open relationships with the key product and BD decision-makers
  • Secure new integrations that generate real user flow
  • Prioritise opportunities based on integration readiness, distribution potential and commercial value
  • Structure commercial agreements including revenue share, per-trade fees and API contracts
  • Work directly with the CEO on commercial terms and strategic partnerships
  • Build a clear map of the applications driving meaningful trading volume and distribution
  • Feed market and customer requirements back into the Product and Engineering teams
  • Help determine which applications can integrate immediately and which should follow as licensing and product capabilities develop
  • Establish repeatable partnership and deal structures that can be scaled across the next tier of opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For

This is a specialist hire. You should already have a proven track record of signing partnerships with on-chain trading applications.

  • Personally signed integrations with trading terminals, bots, wallets or retail brokers
  • Strong network of product and BD decision-makers across the on-chain trading ecosystem
  • Experience selling execution infrastructure such as MEV protection, transaction landing, swap routing, solver or aggregation services
  • Proven ability to structure commercial deals around revenue share, per-trade fees or API contracts
  • Strong understanding of why trading applications choose and change infrastructure providers
  • Technically credible enough to engage directly with engineering teams around APIs, latency, reliability and fill quality
  • Able to operate independently without an inbound lead flow or established pipeline
  • Strong commercial judgement and comfortable challenging assumptions when market feedback says otherwise
  • Experience in partnerships or BD within transaction landing, MEV, RPC, routing, aggregation or solver infrastructure strongly preferred
  • Experience with distribution partnerships for a perpetuals venue or prediction market advantageous
  • Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate research, account mapping and market analysis

What Success Looks Like

The focus is on live integrations and real user flow, not simply building relationships.

Within the first year, success will mean:

  • The highest-priority trading applications have been identified and engaged
  • Multiple applications are integrated and routing real user activity
  • A repeatable commercial model is established for future partnerships
  • Product decisions are being influenced by direct market feedback
  • The channel is generating meaningful first-year revenue

Compensation & Equity

  • US: $150,000–$250,000 Base
  • Europe: €90,000–€180,000 Base

Plus:

  • % of first-year fees collected
  • Time-vested options
  • Additional options based on performance milestones

The Opportunity

This is a chance to take ownership of a strategically important distribution channel within a business operating at the intersection of crypto infrastructure, on-chain trading and financial technology.

You’ll work directly with the CEO and engineering leadership, have significant influence over product direction and commercial strategy, and own the partnerships that can drive real adoption of the platform.

If you’ve already signed integrations with leading on-chain trading applications and know how to turn those relationships into live, commercially valuable integrations, this could be an exceptional opportunity.

All applications treated in the strictest confidence.
