We’re partnering with an ambitious consumer brand entering an exciting new phase of growth. With a strong D2C customer base and ambitious plans across ecommerce, marketplaces and retail, this is a newly created opportunity for a commercially driven ecommerce leader to help shape the next stage of the journey.

The role

You’ll own the D2C commercial plan and trading performance, connecting strategy, customer insight, marketing, product and stock to deliver growth.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning the D2C revenue, customer and contribution plan from annual strategy through to daily trading.
  • Building the ecommerce trading strategy and integrated commercial calendar.
  • Leading forecasting, planning and weekly/monthly trading performance.
  • Driving onsite merchandising, CRO, experimentation and customer experience improvements.
  • Partnering with Product, UX and Technology to prioritise and deliver commercial opportunities.
  • Owning promotional strategy and evaluating performance across revenue, margin and customer value.
  • Turning customer and commercial data into clear trading actions.
  • Building the ecommerce/trading capability, processes and operating rhythm as the business scales.
  • Working closely across Marketing, Finance, Product, Data and Supply Chain

The Person

The successful candidate will have significant senior experience in D2C ideally within a scaling consumer, retail or high-growth environment. You will have:

  • Strong commercial forecasting, planning and trading capability.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce, merchandising, CRO and analytics.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Product, UX, Technology, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and CRM.
  • A hands-on, data-led and commercially curious approach.
  • Experience building teams, processes and ways of working in a scaling business.
