Role: Head of Operations
Location: London | Hybrid
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + equity + benefits
Type: Permanent | Full-time
We’ve partnered exclusively with an investment-backed, founder-led wellness start-up that’s growing quickly across DTC, retail and new product development.
They’re now looking for a commercially-minded Head of Operations to make sure the operational side of the business keeps pace with that growth.
Reporting directly to the Founder, you’ll lead across operations, supply chain, retail operations, NPD, systems and processes, while managing an existing Supply Chain & Operations Manager.
The Role
You’ll be the person making sure growth doesn’t create operational headaches - putting the right processes, systems and structure in place as the business gets bigger.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading supply chain, inventory, warehousing, 3PL and fulfilment
- Improving operational processes, systems and automation
- Managing demand planning across DTC, retail and Amazon
- Leading the operational delivery of the NPD roadmap from concept through to launch
- Managing manufacturer and supplier relationships, including commercial negotiations
- Supporting retail onboarding, B2B operations and international expansion
- Owning key operational KPIs across service levels, inventory, COGS and margin
- Working closely with the Founder and fractional CFO on forecasting, working capital and commercial planning
- Developing the operations function and growing the team over time

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable moving between strategy and the detail - someone who enjoys building, improving and solving problems rather than simply maintaining what’s already there.
You’ll bring:
- Strong Operations & Supply Chain experience within consumer products, wellness, beauty, supplements or FMCG
- Experience working in a start-up or scale-up environment
- A track record of building and improving operational processes
- NPD experience, ideally working with manufacturers from concept through to launch
- Strong commercial judgement and supplier negotiation skills
- People management experience
- Experience across DTC and retail, with Amazon, B2B or international exposure a bonus
- A practical approach to systems, automation and AI
