A growing $5bn multi-strategy hedge fund is looking to appoint a Head of Operations to lead its global operating platform across London and New York.
This is a senior, broad-based role with responsibility for the day-to-day management and continued development of the firm’s operational infrastructure. The successful individual will work closely with Portfolio Managers, senior leadership and the wider control functions to ensure the business can continue to grow in a scalable and well-controlled way.
The role will span core Operations, Fund Services and elements of Management Company Finance, with significant exposure to strategic projects, new product launches and firm-wide decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing global Operations team
- Overseeing the firm’s post-trade operating model across multiple asset classes
- Managing relationships with administrators, prime brokers and other external providers
- Overseeing NAV, valuation, P&L and wider fund-service deliverables
- Supporting new funds, strategies, markets and broader business expansion
- Driving automation, process improvement and technology-led change

Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience within the buy side, with strong exposure to multi-asset hedge fund strategies and a proven track record of leading Operations
- This would suit an established Head of Operations professional looking for a broad leadership role within a growing and increasingly global investment platform.
- Compensation will be market competitive and dependent on experience.
- Candidates with notice or non-compete periods of three months or less are preferred.
