Head of Operations
South Wales | Circa £110,000 + Bonus | Relocation Package Available
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an established Head of Operations to join a well-established and growing manufacturing organisation based in South Wales.
The business is currently experiencing a significant period of growth, supported by continued investment, site development and internal expansion. As part of this journey, they are looking for an accomplished Operations Leader who can help shape the next phase of the site's development and deliver sustainable improvements across manufacturing and engineering.
The Role
Taking a senior leadership position within the site, you will have responsibility for driving operational performance while playing a key role in the wider transformation and growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and developing manufacturing and operational teams within a fast-paced environment.
- Driving transformational change and continuous improvement across the operation.
- Working closely with Engineering, supporting engineering strategy, reliability, CAPEX and major site projects.
- Developing and delivering operational strategies aligned with wider business objectives.
- Improving performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People.
- Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, OEE and overall manufacturing performance.
- Leading significant change programmes and embedding sustainable improvements.
- Developing leadership capability, succession planning and a high-performance culture.
- Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders across the site and wider organisation.

About You
We are looking for an established Operations Leader with a strong track record within complex manufacturing environments.
Ideally, you will bring:

- Senior leadership experience within Manufacturing / Operations.
- Strong exposure to Engineering Management, Engineering Projects and/or CAPEX.
- A proven track record of delivering transformation and change management programmes.
- Experience improving manufacturing performance through Lean, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence methodologies.
- Strong people leadership with experience developing teams and future leaders.
- Strategic capability combined with a willingness to remain close to operational delivery.
- Degree qualification in Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management or a related discipline
