Salary: to £100,000 + potential future equity

A Rare Opportunity to Help Scale One of the UK’s Most Exciting Insurtech Start-ups!

Our client is an ambitious, fast-growing Insurtech business, transforming the Specialty Insurance market through innovative Policy Administration technology. Having achieved impressive early commercial success and secured strong financial backing, they are now entering an exciting period of expansion. As part of this growth, they are creating a brand-new Operations Lead role to work alongside the CEO, helping to build the operational foundations to support the next stage of the company’s journey.

This is far more than a traditional operations role. You’ll become a trusted right-hand partner, taking ownership of operational management including finance, legal, compliance and HR activities, supporting customer engagement, and strategic growth initiatives. For the right individual, this is an exceptional opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in shaping the future of a business with outstanding long-term prospects which for the right candidate, could lead to COO.

The Role

The CEO is an accomplished entrepreneur with a clear vision for the business. As commercial momentum continues to build and they are looking for someone who can take ownership of operational delivery, allowing them to focus on strategic growth and innovation. You’ll become involved in many aspects of the business, ensuring projects move forward, customers receive an outstanding experience, internal teams remain aligned and commercial opportunities are maximized. This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable switching between being very hands-on, operational leadership and commercial negotiations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
