Head of Operations

Smethwick, West Midlands | £50,000–£55,000 depending on experience | Reporting to the Managing Director

Protective workwear with a conscience

Established in 1996, Supertouch is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and suppliers of PPE and workwear. We employ around 65 people from our head office in Smethwick and over 700 people at our own garment factory in Karachi, Pakistan. As an ethically run family business, half of our profit goes to charity through the Balqees Welfare Foundation, helping to raise people out of poverty, fight illness and gain an education in our communities.

The opportunity

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with real authority. You'll lead a team of 18 across our distribution centre, from receiving and picking through to packing, dispatch, returns and replenishment, and you'll be the person accountable for keeping us performing against OTIF, order accuracy and productivity targets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
