About the company
We’re working with a high-growth, VC-backed SaaS company. Following the recent close of its Series B funding round – they are entering an exciting phase of growth as it scales its technology, team and market impact.
With strong backing and significant growth ahead, they’re now looking for a Head of Operations to bring structure, scalability and operational excellence to the next stage of the journey. This is a key leadership hire with genuine scope to shape how the business operates as it grows.
The opportunity
As Head of Operations, you’ll take ownership of the operational engine of the business, working closely with the founders and senior leadership team to make sure the company is set up to scale effectively.

You’ll be a highly commercial and strategic operator who is equally comfortable thinking about the bigger picture and getting into the detail when needed.
This is a broad role with plenty of autonomy. You’ll identify opportunities to improve processes, introduce the right systems and ways of working, and ensure teams have the structure and clarity they need to perform at their best.
You’ll also play an important role in translating the company’s growth ambitions into effective operational plans and execution.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and develop the company’s overall operational strategy as it scales
- Work closely with the founders and leadership team on strategic and operational priorities
- Build scalable processes, systems and ways of working across the business
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements that have a measurable impact
- Establish appropriate KPIs, reporting and performance processes to give the leadership team clear visibility
- Drive cross-functional projects and initiatives from strategy through to execution
- Help the business scale effectively while maintaining a high level of customer and employee experience
- Bring greater structure, accountability and consistency to a fast-moving environment
- Support organisational planning and the development of the company as it grows
- Act as a trusted partner to the founders, challenging assumptions and bringing an operational perspective to key decisions
