Head of Operations – Manufacturing
Surrey | £80,000–£100,000

Can you improve today’s output while building a stronger operation for tomorrow?
We’re partnering with a specialist manufacturer to recruit a Head of Operations into a newly created position, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
You’ll join the senior leadership team and take responsibility across production, production planning, procurement and logistics, leading five functional managers.
Where you’ll make an impact
- Turn customer demand into achievable production plans and reliable delivery.
- Improve productivity, throughput, quality and cost performance.
- Develop managers who take ownership and build capable teams.
- Drive practical improvements across processes, materials and workflow.
- Manage operational budgets and contribute to capital investment planning.
- Keep safety, quality and shop-floor leadership at the centre of the operation.

Who we’re looking for
You could already be a Head of Operations, Head of Manufacturing or Operations Manager. What matters is the scope you have led and the improvements you can demonstrate.

You’ll bring strong manufacturing leadership experience, a track record across production and planning, budget responsibility and the ability to turn Lean principles into sustained results.
A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or a related discipline is preferred.
