About
MORI is a digitally native, omnichannel baby and children's brand headquartered in London. We exist to empower families to sleep better. We sell globally through our own DTC channels alongside major wholesale partners including Harrods, NEXT, John Lewis, Bloomingdale's, and Nordstrom. Behind the brand is an increasingly complex supply chain spanning UK and US 3PLs, international freight, retail stores, ecommerce, wholesale, and dropship. As MORI continues to grow across channels, markets, and product categories, ensuring our operations remain reliable, scalable, and commercially effective is critical to the next stage of the business.
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations to own the performance and continued development of MORI's global operations, from placed purchase order through to final customer delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead a lean Operations team and our key external logistics partners, ensuring the day-to-day operation runs effectively while continually improving how we work as the business scales. You will need to be comfortable getting into the detail when required, while also identifying risks and opportunities, setting priorities, and leading longer-term improvement. A key part of the role is ensuring Operations acts as a strong business partner across MORI, working closely with Commercial, Merchandising, Product, Marketing, Retail, Finance, and Customer Care. You will report directly to the CFO, manage a team of three, and oversee our UK and US 3PL relationships.

- Lead, coach, and develop the Operations team, creating clear ownership and accountability.
- Act as the operational business partner across MORI, ensuring Operations is involved early in new retailer, channel, product, and promotional initiatives.
- Own operational planning and readiness for key trading periods, particularly Black Friday/Cyber Monday and Christmas.
- Lead the monthly S&OP process and present operational performance, risks, and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Lead strategic operational projects and drive cross-functional execution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
