Our client, an Oil Trading company, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in London.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the end-to-end execution of jet fuel and biofuel cargoes, including SAF and HVO, covering seagoing vessels, inland barges, pipelines and terminals.
  • Work closely with traders to develop logistics strategies, advise on operational feasibility and manage storage and supply chain requirements.
  • Oversee EU import procedures, customs, inventory, cargo assurance and operational claims, including demurrage, quality and quantity disputes.
  • Coordinate with terminals, ship owners, barge operators, surveyors, shipping agents and other counterparties to ensure smooth cargo movements.

You will need to have the following experience:

  • 7–10 years’ experience in refined products or jet fuel operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with seagoing vessel cargoes and inland barge logistics.
  • Proven experience within the ARA refined products trading hub.
  • Experience with EU import procedures, customs clearance and biofuel operations.
