Role: Head of Operations - Senior Leadership Role

Location: Norfolk

Salary: £100,000 – £120,000 + Car + Bonus

Middlemore has been retained by a client who operates one of the most strategically important energy sites in the UK, a COMAH-registered gas terminal. It is a safety-critical site operating at the heart of Britain's energy infrastructure.

They are looking for a Head of Delivery to lead the safe operation, maintenance, and capital investment of this terminal, two compressor stations, and the surrounding transmission network across East Anglia.

This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Regional Director, with full accountability for OPEX and CAPEX portfolios worth hundreds of millions of pounds, including ownership of a major terminal redevelopment programme.

The Opportunity

  • Take ownership of a major terminal transformation project, a £100m+ capital redevelopment programme future-proofing the site.
  • Lead a large multidisciplinary workforce across multiple sites, with 5 direct reports and accountability for a £250M capital programme.
  • Sit on the regional leadership team and shape how nationally critical assets are operated, maintained, and invested in.
  • Leave a genuine legacy, drive safety culture, modernise ways of working.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
