Location: East Bristol
Salary: c£50k pa pro rata plus benefits

New Work Trust was established over 40 years ago to provide good value serviced workshop and office rented accommodation to growing businesses, including start-ups and artisanal workers. The company now provides accommodation and a range of services to over 60 businesses on site providing a dynamic, supportive and friendly commercial environment.
About the role
As Head of Operations, you will report directly to the Board of Directors (which is entirely comprised of non-executive directors) and contribute to the strategic development of New Work Trust as a key member of the management team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the business operations of New Work Trust including the promotion and delivery of sales, control and monitoring of company finances and ensuring a high level of customer service
- Seeking out and maximising all revenue and development opportunities and promoting New Work Trust within the wider community
- Ensuring the efficient operation, property management and maintenance of the site
- Leading, motivating and inspiring a team of 5 staff
- Leading on the planning and delivery of projects relating to the infrastructure and fabric of the premises.

About you
You will have a strong track record in a senior management position ideally within a commercial property management, facilities, hospitality or serviced office space environment
You will have experience of managing the operations of a site from day-to-day maintenance issues to planning larger scale projects including ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
You will have strong business acumen along with experience in marketing, sales and income generation
You will have very good communication skills and be able to quickly establish rapport and develop strong customer relationships as well as have excellent team management skills

You will have strong numerical skills along with experience of preparing and monitoring budgets and providing financial reports
You will be confident using Microsoft Office software as well as social media and ideally have experience using accounting packages such as Xero.
Hours of work will be 22.5 hours per week worked flexibly over 3 or 4 days and the role will be site based. Salary is c£30,000 pa (c£50,000 pa fte) plus a generous benefits package.
