The Company

Our client is a successful, privately owned business with an established reputation in its sector and ambitious plans for continued growth. As part of the next stage of its development, they are looking to appoint a Head of Operations into a newly created senior leadership role, helping to strengthen operational performance, systems and accountability across the business.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the wider leadership team, you will take responsibility for the overall operational performance of the business across a broad range of functions, ensuring people, processes and systems work effectively together. You will play a key role in improving efficiency, strengthening accountability and developing the operational capability required to support future growth.

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced operational leader from a manufacturing, distribution or similarly complex environment, with a strong track record of improving processes, developing teams and introducing greater structure and accountability. You will be a pragmatic and commercially aware "hands on" leader, comfortable operating across a broad remit and driving continuous improvement. Experience of ERP systems, change management, Lean/Six Sigma, automation or business intelligence would be advantageous.
