ABOUT STEVEN.COM FUND
The first fund, Flight Fund, backed the most disruptive founders in consumer and tech: the innovators building products people can't put down, and companies that go on to define their category. It has been incredibly successful, backing category-defining companies such as SpaceX, Groq, Huel, Replit, and Lovable. Founded by Steven Bartlett, Fund II is the next chapter of Flight Fund, building on its blueprint and its success.
Fund II continues our focused thesis in Series A consumer product and consumer/prosumer tech, with a growth-stage lens for backing the next generation of category-defining companies.
The funds sit within Steven.com, the end-to-end operating system for the creator economy, designed to scale what is irreplaceably human. Steven.com scales creators across Media, Community, and Products, powered by proprietary tech and data and an obsessed team of 150 experts across the UK and US. Founders who join the portfolio get more than capital; they gain mentorship, guidance, and access to the full Steven.com ecosystem and Steven's wider network.
We are currently building Fund II from the ground up - raising capital, hiring, and implementing the operating platform and high-touch investor experience to match our ambition. It is an exciting time to join a small, focused team with the backing and reach of one of the most recognized names in the creator and investment world.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

ROLE MISSION
Build and own the operating model that lets Fund II run and scale: governance, providers, valuations, reporting and fund launch. As the most senior operations hire, you'll own the back and middle office end to end, building the team beneath you while working with strong outsourced partners for specialist functions.
KEY OUTCOMES
- Design and stand up the operating model, leading operations through to fund launch and close, with foundations built for a larger, institutional future fund
- Own governance and oversee outsourced providers across fund administration, accounting, compliance, AIFM oversight, legal, audit and valuation support
- Run the operational workstream of the raise: LP onboarding, KYC/AML, subscription documents, side letters and the data room through to close
- Manage treasury and banking relationships, including cash management, FX exposure and capital call/distribution mechanics
- Own the valuations policy and reporting cadence to investors and internal stakeholders
- Hire and lead the operations team, starting with an Investor Relations Manager and a Fund Operations Manager, delivering institutional quality servicing while staying lean
- Select and implement core technology, CRM, portfolio monitoring, document management and data security, so systems scale with AUM without a proportional rise in headcount
