About the Company
Pivotal is partnering with a well-established digital business looking to hire a senior Paid Social leader to take ownership of the discipline across its UK operation.
About the Role
This is a high-impact role for someone who combines deep Paid Social expertise with strong client leadership and the ability to build and develop high-performing teams. You’ll have significant influence over how the capability evolves, helping shape the agency’s approach while remaining close to major clients, emerging platform developments and the wider Paid Social market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the Paid Social capability across the UK
- Provide senior strategic guidance on complex and high-value client accounts
- Ensure consistently high standards across Paid Social strategy and execution
- Identify opportunities to improve client performance and deepen relationships
- Keep the business ahead of developments across social platforms, technology and measurement
- Introduce new approaches, tools and ways of working where they can improve results
- Coach and develop Paid Social specialists across different levels of seniority
- Create an environment where testing, learning and innovation are encouraged
- Work collaboratively with other digital specialists to deliver integrated client strategies
- Play an active role in pitches and new business opportunities
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Contribute to the commercial growth of the Paid Social offering

Qualifications
Extensive experience within Paid Social, ideally gained in an agency environment
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Paid Social strategy, activation, optimisation and measurement
- Experience working with large or sophisticated advertisers
- Confident advising senior client stakeholders and challenging thinking when required
- Strong understanding of the major social advertising platforms and the wider digital ecosystem
- Experience leading, mentoring or developing Paid Social specialists
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of how excellent client delivery translates into account growth
- Comfortable contributing to pitches and senior client conversations
- Naturally curious about changes in platforms, technology and consumer behaviour
- Able to balance technical credibility with strategic and people leadership

Pay range and compensation package
Salary: Circa £90,000 basic salary + Bonus
