Hybrid role: Head of Paraplanning: Full Time Vacancy

An opportunity has arisen for a hybrid role of Paraplanning Manager and Paraplanner to join a successful and growing company.

Wise Investment is an independent, employee-owned wealth management and financial planning business. Since the company was founded in 1992, we have provided financial advice and investment management solutions to private clients. Quality and excellence sit at the core of our values and our team of experienced, qualified investment and financial planning professionals are committed to providing the best service with attractive returns, through the development of long-term relationships with our clients.

Main responsibilities

The successful candidate will be working as part of a small, developing team of paraplanners based in Chipping Norton. The role will include both Paraplanning duties as well as Management duties. The office hours are Monday–Friday 9am to 5pm. The responsibilities will include working with the financial planners, administrators, and with other members of the team, to deliver a high-quality, efficient service to both customers and staff. This is a technical position, dealing at times with complex figures and rules, as well as routine tasks, which will not be limited to those listed below. The responsibilities will also include line management of the paraplanners as well as working with the CCO and the rest of the management team on business strategy and day-to-day operational issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
