Head of Patient Access & Operations

Lincoln | £60,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance or Electric Vehicle + Bonus + Relocation Package

Hays has been exclusively engaged by HTG-UK to lead the search for a Head of Patient Access & Operations. Based at their Lincoln HQ, this is a pivotal leadership appointment within a growing national healthcare organisation.

Every patient journey starts with access. Whether it's arranging transport for a hospital appointment, coordinating a discharge or responding to changing operational demands in real time, the teams behind the scenes play a vital role in ensuring patients receive the care and support they need.

As HTG-UK continues to grow, they're looking for an exceptional leader to take ownership of patient access, operational control and planning across a complex national operation.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Operations Director and forming part of the Senior Management Team, you'll lead a team of approximately 100 colleagues responsible for patient transport services, journey planning and operational control. You'll ensure the organisation delivers a safe, efficient and compassionate service whilst maintaining strong performance across multiple contracts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
