In May 2026, Fresha secured an $80M growth investment from KKR at a valuation of $1B, officially reaching unicorn status and bringing total funding raised to $285M. Already profitable, Fresha is using this investment to accelerate global expansion and drive the next generation of AI and product innovation.

Our mission is simple: help beauty and wellness businesses grow by giving them the technology they need to attract clients, manage their operations and run their business in one place.

We’re continuing to scale rapidly across markets, teams and products, making this an exciting time to join us.

Role Overview:

Head of Payment Operations | London, UK | Office-based, 5 days/week | Competitive salary + ESOP & Company Benefits.

Reporting directly to the Chief Payments Officer, the Head of Payment Operations will play a critical role in turning Fresha’s global payments strategy into scalable execution and measurable business outcomes.

You’ll sit at the centre of Payments, Commercial, Product, Finance and Operations, acting as the operational engine behind the payments organisation and ensuring strategic priorities are translated into clear plans, strong execution and meaningful results.

You’ll lead high-impact initiatives across payment acceptance, terminals, pricing, optimisation and merchant adoption, bringing structure to ambiguity and driving delivery across multiple concurrent priorities.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced payments professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You’ll operate with significant autonomy, work closely with senior leadership and have meaningful influence over how Fresha’s global payments organisation scales.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategy to Execution: Translate payments strategy into clear operational priorities, execution plans and measurable business outcomes.
  • Program Delivery: Lead high-impact initiatives across payment acceptance, terminals, pricing, optimisation and merchant adoption, ensuring priorities are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Operational Excellence: Build scalable processes, governance frameworks and execution cadences that improve how the payments organisation operates.
  • Visibility & Reporting: Create clear reporting across active payments initiatives, operational performance and strategic priorities, giving leadership the visibility needed to make informed decisions.
  • Terminal & Hardware Programmes: Lead terminal and hardware initiatives, including device rollouts, upgrade cycles, replacement strategies and optimisation programmes.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the operational bridge between Payments, Commercial, Product, Finance and Operations, ensuring alignment, accountability and effective collaboration.
  • Performance & KPIs: Define ownership, timelines, KPIs and delivery frameworks across complex cross-functional programmes.
  • Risk & Problem Solving: Proactively identify blockers, risks and dependencies, driving resolution and maintaining momentum across multiple workstreams.
  • Payments Growth: Deliver measurable improvements in payment adoption, wallet share, operational efficiency and execution performance.
  • Leadership Partnership: Provide clear, regular updates and actionable insights to the Chief Payments Officer and broader leadership team, becoming a trusted operational partner as the payments organisation scales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
