Our client, a leading SaaS business based in Oxfordshire, is looking for a Head of Payments to define product strategy, lead a specialist team, and drive the growth of a key product area.
This is a senior product leadership role combining strategy, commercial ownership, and technical collaboration, with the opportunity to shape the future direction of the payments function.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the long-term product strategy, aligned with wider business objectives.
- Partner with senior product leadership to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and market expansion.
- Own the commercial performance of the product portfolio, with a clear focus on growth and revenue.
- Develop compelling business cases that demonstrate customer value, commercial return, and strategic alignment.
- Track progress against strategic objectives, removing barriers and enabling successful delivery.
- Ensure success is measured through customer adoption, commercial outcomes, and realized business value, rather than simply software delivery.

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading payments, fintech, or transactional technology products.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience driving revenue growth and developing investment cases.
- A proven track record of defining product strategy and delivering commercially successful products.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
