Head of People - 10 month FTC
Salary: £65,000–£85,000 (DOE)
Location: London - Hybrid
Contract: 10-Month FTC (September start)
Maxwell Bond have partnered with an innovative software business who are looking for an experienced Head of People to join them on a 10-month fixed term contract. As Head of People, you'll lead the HR and internal talent functions, ensuring the business continues to deliver an excellent employee experience whilst supporting ongoing growth.
What You'll Do as Head of People:
- Lead the talent and people functions, managing direct reports and partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including performance management, employee relations, wellbeing initiatives and HR compliance.
- Drive in-house recruitment, managing hiring processes, agency relationships and supporting recruitment activity during busy periods.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience leading a People/HR function, with strong knowledge of the full employee lifecycle.
- A balanced background across both HR and in-house recruitment, with the confidence to be hands-on when required.
- Experience working within a technology or software environment, with excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.
