Job Title: Head of People

Reports to: Executive Director of People & Culture

Salary: £60,000 p.a. in London Weighting

Hours and Basis: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks

We are seeking an exceptional Head of People to lead our people agenda and play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding employee experience across the College. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where people are at the heart of everything we do. Working closely with the Executive Director of People & Culture, you will provide both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring our people practices support the achievement of the College's ambitious strategic objectives while fostering an inclusive, high-performing workplace culture.

As Head of People, you will lead the delivery of a proactive, professional and customer-focused people service across the College. You will drive the implementation of our People Strategy and provide expert guidance on all aspects of workforce management, employee relations and organisational development.

We are looking for a highly credible HR professional who combines strategic thinking with strong operational expertise. You should have a CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent professional experience, together with significant experience in a senior HR/People leadership role within a complex organisation. You should have extensive experience managing complex employee relations casework, with a strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice. You should also have excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, together with the ability to operate strategically whilst maintaining operational oversight.
