An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR leader to join a successful international organisation.

Reporting to the Director of Business Operations and working closely with the Managing Director, this role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver the people strategy for a growing business of approximately 50 employees.

This is a hands-on leadership position combining strategic HR direction with operational delivery. Supported by an HR Manager and Advisor, you will play a key role in developing a positive, high-performing culture whilst ensuring best practice across the full employee lifecycle.

  • Develop and deliver the people strategy in line with business objectives and growth plans
  • Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic and operational HR guidance
  • Lead workforce planning, talent management and succession planning initiatives
  • Manage complex employee relations matters and organisational change projects
  • Drive employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives
  • Review and develop reward, recognition and benefits programmes
  • Oversee HR compliance, governance and employment legislation requirements
  • Lead learning, development and performance management activities
  • Develop and coach the HR Advisor, creating a collaborative and effective HR function
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation and HR system enhancements

Experience

You'll be an experienced HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational delivery and thrives in a growing SME environment. The role involves travel both in the UK and Central Asia approx. once per month.

  • Significant HR generalist experience operating at a senior level
  • Experience developing and implementing HR strategies
  • Strong employee relations expertise with experience managing complex cases
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Knowledge of organisational development, engagement and talent management
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
