TOMRA was founded in 1972, based on the design, manufacturing and sale of Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) for automated collection of used beverage containers. Today TOMRA provides solutions that enable the circular economy with advanced collection and sorting systems, and food processing by employing sensor-based sorting and grading technology. At TOMRA, we value and encourage innovation, passion and responsibility in everything we do.

The TOMRA Group employs 5,000 people globally and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE: TOM). TOMRA was named Norway’s Most Innovative Business in 2023 & 2025.

TOMRA Collection is a leading innovator in clean loop recycling and is responsible for over 91,000 installations across more than 60 markets. By providing an effective and efficient way of collecting, sorting and processing containers, TOMRA's reverse vending systems make it easy for consumers to recycle and contribute to a more sustainable planet.

We are entering an exciting period of growth as the UK prepares for Deposit Return Scheme to start on October 1st 2026. This is a rare opportunity to join a business that is scaling rapidly and help build the people, culture, and organisational foundations needed for long-term success.

Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on People leader who thrives in growth environments. Someone who loves building, creating structure, solving problems, and driving results. A leader who brings energy, pragmatism, and a get-things-done mindset.

As Head of People & Organisation UK, you will partner closely with the UK Managing Director and leadership team to drive our people strategy while remaining actively involved in day-to-day operations. You will be a key architect of our culture, helping create an environment where people, teams, and the business can thrive.

Why This Role Is Different

This is not a role focused on maintaining established ways of working.

This is a role for a builder.

In this role you will:

  • Play a key role in shaping the people, culture, and organisation as the business continues to grow.
  • Partner closely with leaders to navigate change, strengthen teams, and drive business performance.
  • Build the foundations, processes, and practices needed to support sustainable growth.
  • Balance strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, helping turn plans into action.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
