Are you an experienced HR leader who is passionate about creating high-performing, inclusive workplaces where people can thrive?
I am working exclusively with St Giles Trust who are a UK charity that supports people facing poverty, exploitation, violence, homelessness, and involvement with the criminal justice system. Using staff with lived experience, they help individuals overcome challenges, build resilience, and create positive futures through tailored support, advice, training, and employment opportunities. Their mission is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances.
At St Giles Trust, people are at the heart of everything they do. They are looking for an exceptional Head of People Business Partnering to play a pivotal role in shaping our people agenda, partnering with senior leaders across the organisation to build an inclusive culture where colleagues feel supported, empowered, and able to perform at their best.
This is an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity to lead our People Business Partnering team and drive strategic people initiatives across a national organisation with a strong social purpose. Working closely with the Director of People and Culture, you will combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, helping their leaders navigate change, develop their teams, and deliver excellent people outcomes across the employee lifecycle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
