Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to combine your people expertise with meaningful, purpose-driven work?
Women's Environmental Network (WEN) is a pioneering environmental charity working on the issues that connect women, health, equity and environmental justice. Through an intersectional feminist approach to tackling the climate and nature emergencies, WEN works alongside women and communities to drive climate action, amplify marginalised voices and advocate for systemic change.
This is a rare opportunity to join a respected, values-led organisation and play a key role in shaping its people, culture and learning agenda during an important period of organisational development.
Reporting to the Executive Director
You will become WEN's senior people specialist and trusted adviser, providing expert guidance on employee relations, employment law, policy development, organisational culture and learning. Working closely with senior leaders and Trustees, you'll help strengthen people practice, build management capability and embed sustainable ways of working across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
