πŸ’Ό About the Role

People are at the centre of everything we do at amicable - for the couples we help, and for each other. We're now looking for a Head of People & Talent to lead our People function and make sure amicable attracts, develops and keeps brilliant people.

This is a role for someone who hits the ground running. You'll own hiring, onboarding and performance, holding a genuinely high bar so every person we bring in raises the standard of the team they join. You'll lead our people data and reporting, working with our Operations Director and the wider leadership team to shape how we deliver our people priorities, and manage our Talent Manager and People & Talent Assistant and working closely with our fractional L&D partner.

You'll combine strong HR judgement with hands-on delivery and bring real curiosity about where AI can change how this function works – not just speeding up reporting, but finding new ways to spot patterns, solve problems and make decisions.

Most importantly, you'll need to align with our values - they guide every decision we make, and everyone at amicable embodies them.

This role is hybrid – you'll mainly work from home, with a minimum of 1 day a week in our Holborn or Richmond office.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
