Acre is proud to be partnering with 60 Decibels, a mission-driven, global organisation working at the intersection of technology, social impact and data, to appoint a Head of People. With a strong purpose at its core and a growing international team, the organisation is entering an exciting new phase and is looking for an experienced People leader to help shape its next chapter.

The role

Reporting to the CEO, you'll lead and evolve the global People function, acting as a trusted strategic partner to the executive team and functional leaders. You'll have the opportunity to shape the people, culture and organisational infrastructure needed to support a high-performing, connected and purpose-driven team.

  • Lead and develop the global People strategy, partnering closely with senior leadership to align people priorities with business objectives.
  • Drive the full employee lifecycle, including talent planning, performance, engagement, development, retention, organisational design and effectiveness.
  • Refresh and strengthen People systems, policies and processes, using technology and AI to improve efficiency, insight and employee experience.

The requirements

We're looking for a strategic, commercially minded People leader who combines strong technical expertise with empathy, curiosity and a bias towards action. You'll be comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, and confident influencing senior stakeholders in a complex, international environment.

  • Demonstrated experience across People & Talent, People Operations or Organisational Development, ideally within a purpose-driven or high-growth organisation.
  • Proven experience advising senior leaders and managing areas such as performance, engagement, organisational design, total rewards and People operations across multiple countries.
  • Strong data, systems and communication skills, with experience using modern HR technology and AI to streamline processes, alongside the ability to build trust across different cultures and levels of an organisation.
