Head of Performance

About Mission and why now?

Mission is building the next generation of daily rituals for natural performance. We create great-tasting arabica coffee and matcha with creatine, yerba mate and essential vitamins - helping people get more from a ritual they already love. Always natural, science-led and built for performance.

We are well funded by world-class consumer investors and elite athletes including F1 driver Pierre Gasly, England cricket captain Michael Vaughan and High Performance Host Jake Humphrey. Our products are already used by 12 Premier League teams, six Formula One teams and hundreds of GB athletes.

Now we want to build the UK's most credible natural performance brand - with genuine experts behind the products we make and the science we communicate. We are looking for someone exceptional to become a visible part of Mission and help us raise the standard for functional coffee and matcha.

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Performance to join Mission in an equity-based, non-salaried advisory role. You will become a named, public-facing member of the team - bringing credible expertise to our products, content and customer education.

This is not a logo-on-a-page endorsement. You will work with our founding team, contribute honest input when we develop or improve products, and help turn complex science into useful, engaging content for everyday people.

We expect to meet more brilliant people than we can appoint to one headline role. We may therefore invite strong applicants to join a new Mission Scientific Advisory Board. It would work in a similar way - including a monthly video and product input - but with a lighter-touch public role and a different level of equity / share options.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
