THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Head of Performance Marketing to lead the Performance Marketing team in driving the growth of our paid channels (PPC, Paid Social & Display) and overseeing all elements of the AllSaints affiliate program from strategy through to implementation. This role is a 12 month fixed-term contract.

As Head of Performance Marketing you will be reporting into the Global Digital Director and responsible for strategising, delivering and managing multi million £ paid channel campaigns across UK, US, Europe and CA. You will work closely with the entire digital studio, and often the wider business, across a range of projects and campaigns, ensuring the output is both strategically relevant; financially viable and delivered on time.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Oversee the planning and execution of a multi-channel paid media and social strategy
  • Forecasting and management of a multi-million-pound marketing budget
  • Management and development of the performance and paid social team and agencies/partners
  • Working closely with trade, CRM, organic, brand marketing, content, design, customer experience and dev teams, ensuring all activity is commercially focused and in line with the business trading plan.
  • Influencing senior managers and directors
  • Testing and optimising new channels for growth
  • Increasing conversion rates across paid channels
  • Oversee the management of all elements of the AllSaints affiliate program including direct relationships with AllSaints affiliate network and media agency
  • Defining strategy aligning with your personal, departmental and the wider business KPIs
  • Responsible for channels achieving targets, overseeing an agency to achieve results and adhere to best practises to maximise traffic in line with our ROI targets
  • Managing and developing the Paid Media Manager and the Affiliate Manager
  • Working closely and building solid working relationships with agency account directors, managers and executives as well as Google and Facebook representatives
  • Weekly, monthly and period reporting using GA data presenting to the Global Digital Director, digital teams and other senior management
  • Being on top of all internal communications and searching for any content opportunities that can be promoted
  • Forward planning campaigns and asset briefing to ensure all campaigns are approved and ready to go live on time
  • Working with a feed management agency to optimise and improve the product feed which runs across all paid channels
  • Planning and leading A/B test of ad copy and ad creative across all paid channels
  • Coordinating Ad Hoc growth projects internally and with external agencies

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

  • An entrepreneurial mindset where the day to day elements of your role are a foundation from which you go on to dream big and deliver, often contributing outside of your specialty
  • Commercially astute and able to manage budgetary requirements necessary to form a positive ROI for the business
  • Creative and strategic thinker who is resilient and able to adapt to fast paced environment
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills as relationships in and out of the business are key to the role
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills which you are able to use to inform the communications strategy as well as your own decision making and planning
  • Hyper organised and able to deliver campaigns within agreed timeframes
  • Immaculate attention to detail
  • Previous experience in commercially focused environments
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
  • Adaptable to a fast moving environment and good problem solving skills
  • Proven experienced with Adwords, Search Ads 360, GA360 & Social media platforms
  • Decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility
  • High standards of numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong use of initiative and proactivity coupled with a curious mindset
  • Strong analytics and Excel skills
  • Experience using Data studio, Funnel and Tableau preferable
  • Previous digital marketing experience, ideally with a retailer, with strong relevant experience within paid media management and affiliate marketing
