Head of Planning (Partner) Birmingham Leading National Law Firm
Are you a Planning Partner looking for the opportunity to lead, shape and grow a successful planning practice?
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Partner to head up the Birmingham planning team of this highly regarded national law firm. This appointment offers genuine autonomy, the backing of an established real estate practice and the opportunity to play a key role in the firms continued growth across the Midlands.
The Role
As Head of Planning, you will lead and develop the firms planning offering across Birmingham and the wider Midlands. Acting for a diverse client base including national developers, housebuilders, landowners, local authorities, investors and commercial organisations, you will advise on all aspects of planning law, including planning applications, strategic land, Section 106 agreements, highways agreements, compulsory purchase, judicial review and major regeneration projects.

Working alongside highly regarded real estate, construction and environmental teams, you will be responsible for driving business development, mentoring junior lawyers and implementing the strategic growth plans for the practice.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from established Planning Partners or ambitious Legal Directors looking to step into their first Partnership leadership role. You will have an impressive track record of advising on complex planning matters, an established network within the Midlands market and a genuine enthusiasm for developing both clients and people.
A following would be advantageous, although candidates with a demonstrable history of winning work and developing long-term client relationships are equally encouraged.
