Location: 4 days per month in Bedford
Salary: competitive

This role
The Head of Platform Delivery is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the successful delivery, evolution and operational resilience of a large-scale digital platform. Working closely with senior stakeholders, this individual will lead multidisciplinary teams across product, engineering, architecture, design and quality assurance to translate strategic objectives into secure, scalable and user-centred digital services. The role is accountable for platform performance, delivery excellence, cloud governance, and continuous improvement, ensuring technology solutions deliver lasting value for users and the organisation.
What is required
We are seeking an experienced technology and delivery leader with a proven track record of leading agile, cross-functional teams in complex cloud-based environments. Successful candidates will bring expertise in product and delivery management, quality engineering, CI/CD, technical governance and stakeholder engagement, together with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands on delivery leadership. Experience of modern cloud platforms, supplier transition or insourcing programmes, and delivering secure, high-performing digital services at scale will be highly advantageous.
