Who You Will Work With

Our client is a global financial services organisation providing specialist banking and financial markets solutions. The company offers a collaborative, multicultural and professionally driven environment, with opportunities for career development across a range of banking and corporate functions.

What You'll Do

  • Define and enforce infrastructure engineering standards, design patterns, environment principles and lifecycle management practices to promote consistency, resilience and effective control across the bank.
  • Drive automation-first delivery, including Infrastructure as Code where appropriate, to improve the repeatability, auditability and efficiency of provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, patching, recovery and operational support.
  • Establish robust delivery controls and guardrails, including approval processes, validation gates, segregation of duties, release controls, version management, peer review and auditability throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.
  • Strengthen operational resilience and service stability by standardising environments, reducing configuration drift, improving monitoring and incident response, and maintaining effective availability, recovery, disaster recovery and performance management practices.
  • Lead and develop high-performing infrastructure engineering teams while collaborating with architecture, security, operations, service management and delivery stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, evaluate emerging technologies and deliver sustainable on-premises hosting capabilities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
