Do you want to step into a senior leadership role where you'll own the strategy for a platform engineering function of 20~ engineers?
Do you want to work with modern cloud-native technology across AWS, GCP, Kubernetes and Kafka, and be measured on real engineering outcomes?
My client is a UK telecoms business with a strong focus on customer experience, and they're investing heavily in the platform that underpins their products.
They now have a requirement for a Head of Platform Engineering to lead a team of internal and external engineers, set the direction for their cloud infrastructure, and build the self-service tooling and pipelines that let their product teams deliver faster. Success will be measured against DORA metrics, so you'll be driving improvements in deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate and recovery time.

- Stakeholder management up to senior leadership level
