This is not a traditional PMO leadership role.

As Head of PMO, you will play a critical role in strengthening and scaling Indigo's delivery capability, helping move the organisation towards a more predictable, disciplined and commercially focused delivery model.

You will build and lead a high-performing PMO, establishing the governance, standards, reporting and delivery frameworks needed to improve execution across the organisation. Working closely with senior leadership, Sales and Delivery teams, you will provide clear visibility of portfolio performance, risks, capacity and commercial outcomes, while constructively challenging where priorities, commitments or delivery approaches need to change.

The role will have a direct impact on On-Time Delivery, Right First Time performance, margin, customer confidence and the scalability of Indigo's delivery operation. You will be expected not simply to introduce processes, but to ensure they are adopted, add value and improve the way Indigo delivers for its customers.

What You'll Do

PMO Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and implement Indigo's PMO operating model and roadmap, building a centre of excellence that brings greater consistency, accountability and capability to project, programme and portfolio delivery.

Governance & Assurance

  • Establish proportionate governance, stage gates, quality controls and assurance processes across the delivery lifecycle, ensuring projects are well planned, appropriately governed and delivered against agreed standards and commitments.

Performance & Commercial Excellence

  • Establish clear performance measures and reporting that provide visibility of delivery health, risk, quality and financial performance. Use this insight to improve On-Time Delivery, Right First Time performance, margin, cost control, rework and resource utilisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
