Head of PMO - BUILD A FUNCTION. SHAPE STRATEGY. DRIVE TRANSFORMATION.
Location: Dublin, Ireland (will relocate candidates from London)
Financial Services / Trading Environment
Senior Leadership Opportunity
An industry-leading financial services organisation is seeking an exceptional PMO Lead to establish and build a Project Management Office from the ground up.
This is a rare opportunity to create a PMO function from first principles within a fast-paced, highly successful business where transformation, technology investment and regulatory change are at the heart of the strategic agenda.
Working directly with senior leadership, you will define how the organisation prioritises, governs and delivers its most critical initiatives. From designing governance frameworks and portfolio management processes to building a high-performing PMO team, you will have genuine autonomy, visibility and influence across the organisation.
This is not a role for someone looking to maintain an existing PMO. It's for a leader who enjoys creating structure where none exists, building capability, and leaving a lasting impact on a growing business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
