The Role

The Head of PMO will provide strategic leadership and oversee delivery operations for customers. The ambition is to deliver the best outcome and experience for customers by creating the right delivery journey based on the complexity of the solution & the customer’s needs.

The Head of PMO will lead Project Delivery. This role relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Head of Delivery will proactively work with the team to ensure Projects are being delivered to the right quality standards whilst maintaining speed to revenue targets.

The Head of PMO will continually review how to optimise the delivery process and customer experience. This will include challenging and identifying initiatives, where automation versus human can deliver the best experience for the customer, our people & Sycurio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and enhance leading customer experience for implementation and technical delivery for our customers
  • Manage agreed KPIs
  • Resource management
  • Establish effective organisational and delivery structures, ensuring decision making at the appropriate level
  • Guide, maintain, and enforce departmental practices, methods, policies and procedures
  • Ensure implementations are prioritised and resourced for accordingly and successfully transitioned to BAU
  • Ownership of internal projects where Project Delivery resource is required
  • Escalation management for internal teams, customers & third parties
  • Establish business metrics to increase visibility, alignment, and accountability to meet delivery goals
  • Review and ensure team’s performance to ensure timelines, accuracy, compliance and quality
  • Provide weekly updates and status of delivery function to Senior Leadership
  • Design and own team dashboard with key metrics for use by Senior Leadership
  • Identify cross-team process roadblocks and implement solutions
  • Process design
  • Identify improvement opportunities for implementation processes, and ensure appropriate documentation is updated and training is provided to the impacted stakeholders
  • Coach, mentor and manage direct reports

Experience Required

  • Professional, effective leader with a proven ability to build, inspire and motivate teams while driving leading customer experience
  • Leadership and consultative skills, driving quick time to value during onboarding of customers
  • Project management skills and mindset with ability to prioritise tasks and reduce risks
  • Lead by example as well as be a strong mentor and people developer
  • Experience in leading the development and delivery of a robust, reliable and transparent implementation processes to ensure timely delivery
  • A strategic thinker who is self-motivated, resilient and a strong collaborator with good interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to hold people and Teams to account
  • Ability to simplify complex issues in order to outline a path to resolution, problem solving and analytical / decision-making skills through the use of data
  • A continuous improvement mind-set and demonstrates a strong track record of identifying and successfully implementing change in process

This role will require candidates work on a Hybrid basis from our office in Guildford, Surrey
