CRM Practice Technical Leader

We are partnering with a growing technology consultancy to appoint a senior technical leader for its CRM practice.

This is a pivotal role for someone who enjoys combining hands-on technical credibility with the opportunity to shape a high-performing delivery capability. You will lead the technical direction of the practice, develop its people and standards, and play an active role in ensuring client work is well designed, commercially sound and consistently delivered.

You will be trusted to bring structure and leadership across a portfolio of CRM transformation, implementation and integration programmes. Working closely with delivery, commercial and client-facing colleagues, you will help ensure the business has the right capability, capacity and technical approach to support continued growth.

You will take ownership of the technical health of the CRM practice, acting as its senior point of escalation across active client engagements. This will include setting the benchmark for solution quality, delivery assurance, estimation and technical governance.

A key part of the role will be leading a distributed team of technical specialists across UK-based and offshore delivery. You will bring the team together around clear priorities, standards and development plans, while maintaining a practical view of workload, utilisation and future hiring requirements.

You will also have a visible role at the front end of engagements. This includes supporting discovery conversations, technical workshops, solution design, estimates and proposals—helping clients understand what is achievable and ensuring work enters delivery with the right scope and assumptions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • A track record of working with offshore or nearshore teams and creating one joined-up delivery function.
  • Confidence supporting pre-sales activity, including technical discovery, solution shaping, proposals, estimates and delivery assumptions.
  • Experience of working within a consultancy, systems integrator, software partner or professional-services environment.
  • A commercially aware approach, with the judgement to balance client requirements, delivery quality and project profitability.
  • Familiarity with the wider Microsoft, .NET, Azure, AWS or comparable cloud and integration ecosystem.
  • The ability to build credibility quickly with both clients and technical teams.
