An exciting opportunity to be part of a very ambitious and forward-thinking UK manufacturer of commercial lighting and acoustic products selling to the commercial fit-out industry.

OVERVIEW OF TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES

Processing of incoming project enquiries, liaising with the sales team and customers, understanding technical information, co-ordinating designs, technical submittals and providing completed quote for sales account managers to take forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Managing the internal pre-construction team for lighting and acoustics
  • Initial development and refining of the whole pre-construction process including overseeing product data cleansing project
  • Overall co-ordination of workflow from initial enquiry to ‘oven ready quote’ for sales account managers to take forward. This includes:
    • Liaising with account manager/customers to get a detailed grasp of project requirements
    • Putting together a brief including making assumptions where information is not available
    • Co-ordinating lighting/acoustic designs/drawing take-offs to produce a full breakdown or all products required for the project
    • Entering of the above product requirements on to a sales quotation which is 100% accurate to facilitate world class enquiry response times
  • Processing of sales orders when received and handing them over to operations
  • Liaising with suppliers on bespoke products
  • Build up and manage a team using remote offshore resources
  • Support the sales team with technical queries if required
  • Work with the sales and operations teams to continually improve systems and processes
